Overview:
The West Linn Lions Club partners with the Cascade Pacific Plymouth Club (CPPC)  to serve Lionburgers at their Cruise-In Down by the Riverside at Clackamette Park.
CPPC is known among enthusiasts for their friendly attitude and well-planned shows. Last year, they were hoping for better attendance than the old Hot Dog-Ust Day they were getting at the Clackamas Community College location, but they couldn’t help but be surprised when 223 cars showed up for the brand-new event. The gates opened a half-hour early when the line-up reached McDonalds on Hwy 99, and the rush wasn’t over until 10:00AM. Raffle ticket sales were brisk, and drawings went on literally all day. Once again, they will be donating $6,000 to Clackamas Community College for Auto Tech scholarships, and $750 to the CCC track team, who help us park cars each year.
