Overview:
Every February, the West Linn Lions Club hosts a Sausage and Kraut Dinner for the community and fellow Lions. The Resurrection Church at Ek and Stafford roads in West Linn welcomes all to eat, drink, dance, listen to the music, and enjoy good conversation for a good cause. All proceeds from the Dinner are contributed back to worthy community organizations. Menu: The menu consist of mashed potatoes and gravy, Mt. Angel Oktoberfest sausages, sauerkraut, roll, and apple strudel for dessert. Club members shred, salt, and pack cabbage in November so that the resulting sauerkraut is ready for the Dinner in February. Music: Everyone enjoys the music of a band playing popular German songs and there is space for those wanting to dance. Definitely, the ever popular "chicken dance" will be heard multiple times through the evening, especially if there are lost of children present ready to shake their arms and bodies to the music. Tickets: Tickets are available from all West Linn Lions Club members or they can be purchased here online. You can also reserve "will Call" tickets here online and pay at the event.
