Overview:
Each year on the Saturday before Easter, the West Linn Lions Club members and the Easter Bunny "hide" several thousand Easter Eggs filled with a little candy for children of the community.The event takes place of the West Linn High School football field. The event starts promptly at 10:00 AM with a welcome, introductions of Lions members, and instructions for the kids and parents that takes less than 2-3 minutes. Immediately after this short introduction, the Hunt begins with a countdown from 3 to 1.  All the eggs will be collected by approximately 10:05 (or less). So be sure to get there a little early so your kids/grand-kids will not miss out!

Special Prizes:
In each group there are 3 special eggs. If your child collects one of these special eggs, bring the egg to a table at the front of the grandstand to collect a special prize.

Age Groups:
No per-registration required. Just show up!
There are 5 age groups:

• Toddlers or special needs (parents may help children in this group)
• Kindergarten
• Grades 1-2
• Grades 3-4
• Grades 4-5

Parents are asked not to be on the field during the hunt for all groups (except the toddlers), unless there are special circumstances. Lion members will have extra eggs to give to a child who may have not collected as many eggs as other children. We ask that once the children have opened the eggs and separated the candy, that the empty egg shells be returned to the containers located at each age group. This way, we can be sure that the children at the next year's Hunt will enjoy their Hunt also.

Treats:
The Easter Bunny finds its way from its special den to the Hunt every year. The Bunny is available for photos and hugs for all the children. The Bunny typically is seated in a chair in front of the grandstand or the children may approach wherever the Bunny might hop. Starbucks generously donates coffee for interested adults at the event.
